Hi! I’m Sonya. I am a wife, mom to 3 amazing humans, Speech-Language Pathologist turned stay at home parent and now homeschooling parent. Our children are 8, 5 and 2.

I love:

the outdoors, cooking, reading, fitness, writing, crafting….and cultivating a warm loving home.

None of this gentle parenting stuff came naturally to me and I set out on a mission over the years to gain an understanding of how best to create a life I love and to keep the light in our children’s eyes bright. We use an unschooling approach to our homeschool which means we don’t enforce curriculum and allow their interests and curiosities to drive their path of learning. I have witnessed this way of living transform my home for the better and I hope to share more about our life on the blog to encourage, inspire or just connect with others living this unconventional path.
